29 Entonces el profeta cargó el cuerpo del hombre de Dios sobre el burro y lo llevó de regreso a la ciudad para hacer duelo por su muerte y enterrarlo.

1 Kings 13:29

And the prophet took up the carcass of the man of God
The lion perhaps made off as soon as he came, or, if he stayed, the prophet was not afraid of him, seeing he did not attempt to devour the carcass, nor touch the ass, nor do any hurt to those that passed by: and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back;
to his own city: and the old prophet came to the city to mourn, and to bury him;
to perform the funeral rites, according to the custom of the place.

27 Luego el profeta dijo a sus hijos: «Ensíllenme un burro». Así que ellos ensillaron un burro

28 y él salió y encontró el cuerpo tirado en el camino. El burro y el león todavía estaban parados junto al cadáver, pues el león no se había comido el cuerpo ni había atacado al burro.

29 Entonces el profeta cargó el cuerpo del hombre de Dios sobre el burro y lo llevó de regreso a la ciudad para hacer duelo por su muerte y enterrarlo.

30 Puso el cuerpo en su propia tumba y clamó con profundo dolor: «¡Ay, hermano mío!».

31 Después el profeta dijo a sus hijos: «Cuando yo muera, entiérrenme en la tumba donde está enterrado el hombre de Dios. Pongan mis huesos al lado de los suyos.
