25 »Ahora, oh Señor
, Dios de Israel, lleva a cabo la otra promesa que le hiciste a tu siervo David, mi padre, cuando le dijiste: “Si tus descendientes cuidan su comportamiento y me siguen con fidelidad, así como tú lo has hecho, siempre habrá uno de ellos sentado en el trono de Israel”.

1 Kings 8:25

Therefore now, Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant David
my father that thou promisedst him
That as he had fulfilled one part of his promise respecting himself, his immediate successor, so that he would fulfil the other respecting his more remote offspring:

saying, there shall not fail thee a man in my sight, to sit on the
throne of Israel;
one of David's posterity to inherit his throne and kingdom, but with this proviso:

so that thy children takes heed to their way;
in what way they walk, and how they walk in it:

that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me;
meaning as David walked, see ( Psalms 132:11 Psalms 132:12 ) .

«Oh Señor
, Dios de Israel, no hay Dios como tú arriba en el cielo ni abajo en la tierra. Tú cumples tu pacto y muestras amor inagotable a quienes andan delante de ti de todo corazón.

24 Has cumplido tu promesa a tu siervo David, mi padre. Pronunciaste esa promesa con tu boca y hoy la has cumplido con tus propias manos.

25 »Ahora, oh Señor

26 Ahora, oh Dios de Israel, cumple esta promesa que le hiciste a tu siervo David, mi padre.

27 »¿Pero es realmente posible que Dios habite en la tierra? Ni siquiera los cielos más altos pueden contenerte, ¡mucho menos este templo que he construido!
