1 Ocozías gobierna en Judá
Entonces el pueblo de Jerusalén proclamó como siguiente rey a Ocozías, el hijo menor de Yoram, ya que bandas saqueadoras que llegaron con los árabes
habían matado a todos los hijos mayores. Por eso Ocozías, hijo de Yoram, reinó sobre Judá.

2 Chronicles 22:1

And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest
son king in his stead
He being the only surviving one of the sons of Jehoram, the same with Jehoahaz, ( 2 Chronicles 21:17 ) who was saved when the rest were taken captive and slain, by his mother Athaliah, and he made his escape, and that she also escaped is clear from ( 2 Chronicles 22:10 )

for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp;
that is, of the Philistines, ( 2 Chronicles 21:16 ) , which band seems to be a band or company of thieves and robbers, as the Septuagint, cruel and barbarous, as the action ascribed to them shows:

[for they] had slain all the eldest;
sons of Jehoram; the Philistines and Arabians only carried them away captives, but those slew them in cold blood:

so Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned;
being declared his successor by the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

2 Ocozías tenía veintidós
años cuando subió al trono y reinó en Jerusalén un año. Su madre se llamaba Atalía y era nieta del rey Omri.

3 Ocozías también siguió el mal ejemplo de la familia del rey Acab, porque su madre lo animaba a hacer lo malo.

4 Hizo lo malo a los ojos del Señor
, igual que la familia de Acab. Los parientes de Acab incluso llegaron a ser asesores de Ocozías después de la muerte de su padre y lo llevaron a la ruina.

5 Siguiendo su mal consejo, Ocozías se unió a Joram,
hijo de Acab, rey de Israel, en su guerra contra el rey Hazael de Aram, en Ramot de Galaad. Cuando los arameos hirieron a Joram en la batalla,
