24 Cuando Yoram murió, lo enterraron con sus antepasados en la Ciudad de David. Luego su hijo Ocozías lo sucedió en el trono.

2 Kings 8:24

And Joram slept with his fathers
Died as they did:

and was buried with his fathers in the city of David;
but not in the sepulchres of the kings, and without any funeral pomp, and without any mourning and lamentation for him, he being not beloved, and his life not at all desirable, ( 2 Chronicles 21:19 2 Chronicles 21:20 ) ,

and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead;
of whom more is said in the following verses.

Ocozías, hijo de Yoram, comenzó a gobernar Judá durante el año doce del reinado de Joram, hijo de Acab, rey de Israel.

26 Ocozías tenía veintidós años cuando subió al trono y reinó en Jerusalén un año. Su madre se llamaba Atalía y era nieta del rey Omrí de Israel.
