el día que les habló desde en medio del fuego, en el monte Sinaí.

Deuteronomy 4:15

Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves
As to keep all the laws given them, so particularly to avoid idolatry:

for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day the Lord spake unto you
in Horeb out of the midst of the fire;
and therefore, as they had nothing that directed and led them, so they had nothing that could be a temptation to them, to make any form or likeness, and worship it.

13 Él proclamó su pacto, los diez mandamientos,
los cuales escribió en dos tablas de piedra y les ordenó que los cumplieran.

14 Fue en esa ocasión que el Señor
me ordenó que les enseñara sus decretos y ordenanzas, para que ustedes los obedecieran en la tierra donde están a punto de entrar y que van a poseer.

16 Así que no se corrompan haciendo ídolos de ninguna clase, sea con figura de hombre o de mujer,

17 de animales de la tierra o de aves del cielo,
