And they said, we will call the damsel
Who perhaps through modesty had withdrawn herself to her own apartment, while the man and her friends were discoursing on this subject: and inquire at her mouth;
what she says to it, whether willing to go directly or not; the matter in question was referred to her, and left to her decision.

55 —Queremos que Rebeca se quede con nosotros al menos diez días —dijeron su madre y su hermano—, y luego podrá irse.
56 Pero él dijo:

57 —Bien —dijeron ellos—, llamaremos a Rebeca y le preguntaremos qué le parece a ella.
58 Entonces llamaron a Rebeca.
—¿Estás dispuesta a irte con este hombre? —le preguntaron.
—Sí —contestó—, iré.
59 Entonces se despidieron de Rebeca y la enviaron con el siervo de Abraham y sus hombres. La mujer que había sido niñera de Rebeca la acompañó.
