And his father Isaac said unto him
After he had eat and drank, and the repast was over, and all were took away: come near now, and kiss me, my son;
which was desired either out of affection to him, excited by this instance of preparing such savoury and agreeable food; or else having some suspicion still, and willing to have more satisfaction before he proceeded further to bless, from the smell of his breath, and of his garments,

24 鈥斅緿e verdad eres mi hijo Esa煤? 鈥攑regunt贸.
鈥擲铆, lo soy 鈥攃ontest贸 Jacob.
25 Entonces Isaac dijo:
鈥擜hora, hijo m铆o, tr谩eme lo que cazaste. Primero comer茅 y despu茅s te dar茅 mi bendici贸n.
Entonces Jacob llev贸 la comida a su padre, e Isaac la comi贸. Tambi茅n bebi贸 el vino que Jacob le sirvi贸.
26 Luego Isaac le dijo a Jacob:
鈥擜c茅rcate un poco m谩s y dame un beso, hijo m铆o.
27 As铆 que Jacob se le acerc贸 y le dio un beso. Entonces Isaac, al sentir el olor de la ropa, finalmente se convenci贸 y bendijo a su hijo diciendo:
鈥斅h! 隆El olor de mi hijo es como el olor del campo, que el Se帽or
ha bendecido!
28 芦Del roc铆o de los cielos
y la riqueza de la tierra,
que Dios te conceda siempre abundantes cosechas de grano
y vino nuevo en cantidad.
