31 Allí están enterrados Abraham y su esposa Sara; allí también están enterrados Isaac y su esposa Rebeca; y allí enterré a Lea.

Genesis 49:31

There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife
Abraham buried Sarah there himself, and his two sons, Isaac and Ishmael, buried him there:

there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife;
we have no other account of the death of Rebekah, and her burial, but here; it is probable she died before Isaac, and that Isaac buried her in this cave; and here Esau and Jacob buried him:

and there I buried Leah;
of whose death and burial we also read nowhere else but here; it is probable she died before Isaac, and that Isaac buried her in this cave; and here Esau and Jacob buried him:

29 Muerte y entierro de Jacob
Entonces Jacob les dio las siguientes instrucciones: «Yo moriré pronto y me uniré con mis antepasados. Entiérrenme junto con mi padre y mi abuelo en la cueva que está en el campo de Efrón el hitita.

30 Es la cueva del campo de Macpela, cerca de Mamre, en Canaán, la cual Abraham compró a Efrón el hitita como lugar de sepultura permanente.

31 Allí están enterrados Abraham y su esposa Sara; allí también están enterrados Isaac y su esposa Rebeca; y allí enterré a Lea.

32 Es la parcela de tierra y la cueva que mi abuelo Abraham les compró a los hititas».

33 Cuando Jacob terminó de dar este encargo a sus hijos, metió los pies en la cama, dio su último suspiro y se reunió con sus antepasados al morir.
