Judges 4:20

And he said unto her, stand in the door of the tent
This he said, not in an imperious way, as some think, but by entreaty:

and it shall be, when any man shall come and inquire of thee;
seeing her at the door, and where he desired she would stand to prevent their coming into the tent:

and say, is there any man here?
any besides what belongs to the family? or any of Sisera's army?

that thou shalt say, no;
there is no man; but to this she made no answer that is recorded.

18 Jael salió al encuentro de Sísara y le dijo:
—Entre en mi carpa, señor. Venga. No tenga miedo.
Así que él entró en la carpa, y ella lo cubrió con una manta.

19 —Dame un poco de agua, por favor —le dijo él—. Tengo sed.
Así que ella le dio leche de una bolsa de cuero y volvió a cubrirlo.

21 Pero cuando Sísara se durmió por tanto agotamiento, Jael se le acercó en silencio con un martillo y una estaca en la mano. Entonces le clavó la estaca en la sien hasta que quedó clavada en el suelo, y así murió.

22 Cuando Barac llegó en busca de Sísara, Jael salió a su encuentro y le dijo: «Ven, te mostraré al hombre que buscas». Entonces él entró en la carpa tras ella, y allí encontró a Sísara muerto, tendido en el suelo con la estaca atravesada en la sien.
