8 Mois茅s le habl贸 de nuevo a Cor茅: 芦隆Ahora escuchen, levitas!
9 驴Les parece de poca importancia que el Dios de Israel los escogiera de entre toda la comunidad para estar cerca de 茅l de manera que sirvan en el tabern谩culo del Se帽or
y que est茅n delante de los israelitas para ministrarles?
10 Cor茅, 茅l ya les dio este ministerio especial a ti y a tus hermanos levitas. 驴Ahora tambi茅n reclaman el sacerdocio?
11 隆En realidad es contra el Se帽or
que t煤 y tus seguidores se rebelan! Pues, 驴qui茅n es Aar贸n para que se quejen de 茅l?禄.
12 Luego Mois茅s mand贸 llamar a Dat谩n y a Abiram, los hijos de Eliab, pero ellos respondieron: 芦隆Rehusamos presentarnos ante ti!
13 驴No te basta que nos sacaste de Egipto, una tierra donde fluyen la leche y la miel, para matarnos aqu铆 en este desierto, y que adem谩s ahora nos trates como a tus s煤bditos?
14 Es m谩s, no nos has llevado a una tierra donde fluyen la leche y la miel. Ni nos has dado una nueva patria con campos y vi帽edos. 驴Intentas enga帽ar a estos hombres?
隆Nosotros no iremos!禄.
15 Entonces Mois茅s se enoj贸 mucho y le dijo al Se帽or
: 芦隆No aceptes sus ofrendas de grano! Yo no les he quitado ni siquiera un burro, ni jam谩s he lastimado a ninguno de ellos禄.
16 Y Mois茅s le dijo a Cor茅: 芦T煤 y tus seguidores deber谩n venir aqu铆 ma帽ana y presentarse ante el Se帽or
. Aar贸n tambi茅n estar谩 presente.
17 T煤 y cada uno de tus doscientos cincuenta seguidores deber谩n preparar un incensario y ponerle incienso para que todos puedan presentarlos ante el Se帽or
. Aar贸n tambi茅n llevar谩 el suyo禄.
18 As铆 que cada hombre prepar贸 un recipiente para quemar incienso, lo encendi贸 y le puso incienso. Despu茅s se presentaron a la entrada del tabern谩culo
con Mois茅s y Aar贸n.

Números 16:8-18 Meaning and Commentary

INTRODUCTION TO NUMBERS 16

This chapter gives an account of a sedition of Korah and others against Moses and Aaron, Nu 16:1-4, with whom Moses expostulates, and shows the unreasonableness of their clamour against Aaron, Nu 16:5-11; sends for Dathan and Abiram, who were in the confederacy, but refused to come, which greatly angered Moses, Nu 16:12-15; orders Korah and his company to appear before the Lord the next day, with Aaron, to have the controversy decided, Nu 16:16-18; when all the congregation gathered together would have been, consumed had it not been for the intercession of Moses and Aaron, Nu 16:19-22; and who, being separated from the rebels by the command of the Lord, some of the rebels were swallowed up in the earth, and others destroyed by fire from heaven, Nu 16:23-35; and their censers were made a covering for the altar, as a memorial of their sin, Nu 16:36-40; on which there was a new insurrection of the people, which brought a plague upon them, and destroyed 14,700 persons, and which was stopped at the intercession of Aaron, Nu 16:41-50.
