26 Cuando el profeta que lo había hecho volver de su viaje se enteró de eso, dijo: «Ahí tienen al hombre de Dios que desafió la palabra del SEÑOR. Por eso el SEÑOR lo entregó al león, que lo ha matado y despedazado, como la palabra del SEÑOR se lo había advertido».

1 Kings 13:26

And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard
thereof
The old prophet, that had deceived him, by telling him a lie: he said, it is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the
Lord;
but not a syllable does he say of his own sin in deceiving him; though one would think his own conscience must smite him for it: therefore the Lord hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn
him, and slain him, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake
unto him;
and that by himself, ( 1 Kings 13:21 1 Kings 13:22 ) .

24 y el hombre de Dios se puso en camino. Pero un león le salió al paso y lo mató, dejándolo tendido en el camino. Sin embargo, el león y el asno se quedaron junto al cuerpo.

25 Al ver el cuerpo tendido, y al león cuidando el cuerpo, los que pasaban por el camino llevaron la noticia a la ciudad donde vivía el profeta anciano.

26 Cuando el profeta que lo había hecho volver de su viaje se enteró de eso, dijo: «Ahí tienen al hombre de Dios que desafió la palabra del SEÑOR. Por eso el SEÑOR lo entregó al león, que lo ha matado y despedazado, como la palabra del SEÑOR se lo había advertido».

27 Luego el profeta les dijo a sus hijos: «Aparéjenme el asno». En cuanto lo hicieron,

28 el profeta salió y encontró el cuerpo tendido en el camino, con el asno y el león junto a él. El león no se había comido el cadáver, ni había despedazado al asno.
