1 Kings 18:8

And he answered him, I am
He did not desire to be concealed, his orders were to show and make himself known to Ahab, and Obadiah was one of his domestic servants: go tell thy lord, behold, Elijah is here;
in such a place, ready to face him at any time. Elijah, by calling Ahab the lord of Obadiah, as he tacitly reproves him for calling him lord, shows reverence to Ahab as a king, and yet that he was fearless of him, as he was the prophet and ambassador of the Lord of hosts to him.

6 Así que se dividieron la tierra que iban a recorrer: Acab se fue en una dirección, y Abdías en la otra.
7 Abdías iba por su camino cuando Elías le salió al encuentro. Al reconocerlo, Abdías se postró rostro en tierra y le preguntó:—Mi señor Elías, ¿de veras es usted?
8 —Sí, soy yo —le respondió—. Ve a decirle a tu amo que aquí estoy.
9 —¿Qué mal ha hecho este servidor suyo —preguntó Abdías—, para que usted me entregue a Acab y él me mate?
10 Tan cierto como que vive el SEÑOR su Dios, que no hay nación ni reino adonde mi amo no haya mandado a buscarlo. Y a quienes afirmaban que usted no estaba allí, él los hacía jurar que no lo habían encontrado.
