2 Samuel 18:7

Where the people of Israel were slain before the servants of
David
That is, the people of Israel that were under Absalom, these were beaten by David's army:

and there was a great slaughter that day of twenty thousand [men];
including both those that fell in the field of battle, and that were slain in the pursuit; and this is to be understood only of Absalom's party.

8 La batalla se extendi贸 por toda el 谩rea, de modo que el bosque caus贸 m谩s muertes que la espada misma.
9 Absal贸n, que hu铆a montado en una mula, se encontr贸 con los soldados de David. La mula se meti贸 por debajo de una gran encina, y a Absal贸n se le trab贸 la cabeza entre las ramas. Como la mula sigui贸 de largo, Absal贸n qued贸 colgado en el aire.
