1 »Tú, hijo de hombre, profetiza contra los montes de Israel y diles: “Montes de Israel, escuchen la palabra del SEÑOR.

Ezekiel 36:1

Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel,
&c.] The land of Judah, which was very mountainous, at least one part of it, called the hill country, ( Luke 1:39 Luke 1:65 ) and now the country being cleared of men through the captivity, and other desolating judgments, there were none but bare mountains to speak unto: or, "prophesy concerning the mountains of Israel" ^F4; the inhabitants of them, or those that should be restored to them, concerning their future happiness and comfort: some render it, "against the mountains of Israel" ^F5; but the later prophecies of them are in their favour, and not against them: and say, ye mountains of Israel,
hear the word of the Lord; concerning the destruction of their enemies, and concerning the temporal blessings that should be bestowed on them.

1 »Tú, hijo de hombre, profetiza contra los montes de Israel y diles: “Montes de Israel, escuchen la palabra del SEÑOR.

2 Así dice el SEÑOR omnipotente: El enemigo se ha burlado de ustedes diciendo: ‘Las antiguas colinas ya son nuestras’”.

3 Por eso, profetiza y adviérteles que así dice el SEÑOR omnipotente: “A ustedes los han asolado y arrasado por todas partes; se han convertido en posesión del resto de las naciones, y además han sido objeto de burla y de insultos por parte de la gente.

4 Por eso, montes de Israel, escuchen la palabra del SEÑOR omnipotente. Así habla el SEÑOR omnipotente a los montes y a las colinas, a los torrentes y a los valles, a las ruinas desoladas y a los pueblos deshabitados, saqueados y escarnecidos por los pueblos vecinos.

5 Esto dice el SEÑOR omnipotente: En el ardor de mi celo me he pronunciado contra el resto de las naciones y contra todo Edom, porque con mucha alegría y profundo desprecio se han apoderado de mi tierra para destruirla y saquearla”.
