15 Os oficiais de Saul lhe disseram: “Há um espírito maligno,[a] mandado por Deus, te atormentando.

1 Samuel 16:15

And Saul's servants said unto him
His courtiers, who observing him to act in a frantic manner, to be dull and melancholy, timorous, and irresolute, unsteady, divided, and distressed; or his physicians, who were called in to assist him, and remove his disorder from him:

behold, now an evil spirit from God troubleth thee:
the disorder was not from any natural cause, or any bodily disease, and therefore out of the reach of physicians to do any service, but was from an evil spirit suffered of God to harass and disturb him.

13 Samuel apanhou o chifre cheio de óleo e o ungiu na presença de seus irmãos, e, a partir daquele dia, o Espírito do SENHOR apoderou-se de Davi. E Samuel voltou para Ramá.
14 O EspĂ­rito do SENHOR se retirou de Saul, e um espĂ­rito maligno, vindo da parte do SENHOR, o atormentava.
15 Os oficiais de Saul lhe disseram: “Há um espírito maligno, mandado por Deus, te atormentando.
16 Que o nosso soberano mande estes seus servos procurar um homem que saiba tocar harpa. Quando o espírito maligno, vindo da parte de Deus, se apoderar de ti, o homem tocará harpa e tu te sentirás melhor”.
17 E Saul respondeu aos que o serviam: “Encontrem alguém que toque bem e tragam-no até aqui”.
