Deuteronomy 15:13

And when thou sendest him out free from thee
When he discharged him from his servitude, and made him a free man:

thou shall not let him go away empty;
without anything to support himself, or to put himself in a way of business; he having in the time of his servitude worked entirely for his master, and so could not have got and saved anything for himself.

11 Sempre haverĂĄ pobres na terra. Portanto, eu ordeno a vocĂȘ que abra o coração para o seu irmĂŁo israelita, tanto para o pobre como para o necessitado de sua terra.
12 “Se seu compatriota hebreu, homem ou mulher, vender-se a vocĂȘ e servi-lo seis anos, no sĂ©timo ano dĂȘ-lhe a liberdade.
13 E, quando o fizer, nĂŁo o mande embora de mĂŁos vazias.
14 DĂȘ-lhe com generosidade dos animais do seu rebanho e do produto da sua eira e do seu tanque de prensar uvas. DĂȘ-lhe conforme a bĂȘnção que o SENHOR, o seu Deus, tem dado a vocĂȘ.
15 Lembre-se de que vocĂȘ foi escravo no Egito e que o SENHOR, o seu Deus, o redimiu. É por isso que hoje dou a vocĂȘ essa ordem.
