Deuteronomy 3:7

But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities
The oxen and sheep, camels and asses; their gold and silver, and the furniture of their houses; their stores of corn, and of other fruits of the earth, even all their substance of whatsoever kind:

we took for a prey to ourselves;
made them their own property, and used them for their own profit and service, whereby they became greatly enriched.

5 Todas elas eram fortificadas com muros altos, portas e trancas. Além delas havia muitas cidades sem muros.
6 Nós as destruímos completamente, tal como havíamos feito com Seom, rei de Hesbom, destruindo todas as cidades, matando também os homens, as mulheres e as crianças.
7 Mas os animais todos e o despojo das cidades tomamos como espólio de guerra.
8 “Foi assim que, naquela ocasião, tomamos desses dois reis amorreus o território a leste do Jordão, que vai desde o ribeiro do Arnom até o monte Hermom.
9 (Os sidônios chamam o Hermom de Siriom; os amorreus o chamam Senir.)
