11 Fizeram dela uma terra devastada;e devastada ela pranteia diante de mim.A terra toda foi devastada,mas não há quem se importe com isso.

Jeremiah 12:11

They have made it desolate
Which is repeated to denote the certainty of it; astonishment at it, and that it might be observed: and being desolate it mourneth unto me;
not the inhabitants of it for their sins, the cause of this desolation; but the land itself, because of the calamities upon it; it crying to God, in its way, for a restoration to its former beauty and glory. The whole land is made desolate;
it was not only the case of Jerusalem, and the parts adjacent, but even of the whole land of Judea: because no man layeth it to heart,
took any notice of the judgment threatened, foretold by the prophets; nor repented of their sins, for which they were threatened with such a desolation; nor even were properly affected with the destruction itself; the earth seemed more sensible of it than they were; this expresses the great stupidity of this people.

9 O povo de minha propriedade tornou-se para mimcomo uma toca de hiena,sobre a qual pairam as aves de rapina.Reúnam todos os animais selvagens;tragam-nos para o banquete.

10 A minha vinha foi destruída por muitos pastores,que pisotearam a minha propriedade.Eles tornaram a minha preciosa propriedadenum deserto devastado.

12 Destruidores vieram sobre todasas planícies do deserto,pois a espada dodevora esta terra de uma extremidade à outra;ninguém está seguro.

13 Semearam trigo, mas colheram espinhos;cansaram-se de trabalhar para nada produzir.Estão desapontados com a colheitapor causa do fogo da ira do SENHOR”.
