Luke 20:11

And again he sent another servant
Or set of prophets in after times, and yet before the Babylonish captivity:

and they beat him also;
as they had done the other; they continued in their malpractices, yea increased in them:

and entreated him shamefully;
putting him to open shame, using him in a very ignominious and shameful manner, which it was a shame to relate, and which was shameful for them to do:

and sent him away empty;
as they had done the other.

9 Então Jesus passou a contar ao povo esta parábola: “Certo homem plantou uma vinha, arrendou-a a alguns lavradores e ausentou-se por longo tempo.
10 Na época da colheita, ele enviou um servo aos lavradores, para que lhe entregassem parte do fruto da vinha. Mas os lavradores o espancaram e o mandaram embora de mãos vazias.
11 Ele mandou outro servo, mas a esse também espancaram e o trataram de maneira humilhante, mandando-o embora de mãos vazias.
12 Enviou ainda um terceiro, e eles o feriram e o expulsaram da vinha.
13 “Então o proprietário da vinha disse: ‘Que farei? Mandarei meu filho amado; quem sabe o respeitarão’.
