Luke 6:2

And certain of the Pharisees said unto them
Unto the disciples. The Evangelists Matthew and Mark say, that they said this to Jesus: no doubt but they said it to both, first to one, and then to the other; probably last of all to Christ, who returned an answer to it:

why do ye that which is not lawful on the sabbath day?
as to pluck ears of corn, and rub them, and eat them; (See Gill on Matthew 12:2)

Lucas 6:2 In-Context

1 Certo sábado, enquanto Jesus passava pelas lavouras de cereal, seus discípulos começaram a colher e a debulhar espigas com as mãos, comendo os grãos.
2 Alguns fariseus perguntaram: “Por que vocês estão fazendo o que não é permitido no sábado?”
3 Jesus lhes respondeu: “Vocês nunca leram o que fez Davi quando ele e seus companheiros estavam com fome?
4 Ele entrou na casa de Deus e, tomando os pães da Presença, comeu o que apenas aos sacerdotes era permitido comer e os deu também aos seus companheiros”.
5 E então lhes disse: “O Filho do homem é Senhor do sábado”.
