Genesis 48:15

And he blessed Joseph
In his sons who were reckoned for him, and became the heads of tribes in his room: and said, God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk;
in whom they believed, whom they professed, and whom they feared, served, and worshipped, and with whom they had communion: the God which fed me all my long unto this day;
who had upheld him in life, provided for him all the necessaries of life, food and raiment, and had followed him with his goodness ever since he had a being, and had fed him as the great shepherd of the flock, both with temporal and spiritual food, being the God of his life, and of his mercies in every sense.

13 Puis Joseph les prit tous deux, ÉphraĂŻm de sa main droite, Ă  la gauche d'IsraĂ«l, et ManassĂ© de sa main gauche, Ă  la droite d'IsraĂ«l, et il les fit approcher de lui.
14 Et IsraĂ«l avança sa main droite, et la mit sur la tĂȘte d'ÉphraĂŻm, qui Ă©tait le cadet, et sa main gauche sur la tĂȘte de ManassĂ©. Il posa ainsi ses mains de propos dĂ©libĂ©rĂ©, car ManassĂ© Ă©tait l'aĂźnĂ©.
15 Et il bénit Joseph, et dit: Que le Dieu, devant la face duquel ont marché mes pÚres, Abraham et Isaac, le Dieu qui a été mon berger depuis que j'existe jusqu'à ce jour,
16 Que l'ange qui m'a délivré de tout mal, bénisse ces enfants, et qu'ils portent mon nom et le nom de mes pÚres Abraham et Isaac, et qu'ils multiplient trÚs abondamment sur la terre!
17 Mais Joseph vit que son pĂšre mettait sa main droite sur la tĂȘte d'ÉphraĂŻm, et il en eut du dĂ©plaisir; il saisit la main de son pĂšre pour la dĂ©tourner de la tĂȘte d'ÉphraĂŻm, sur la tĂȘte de ManassĂ©.
