John 13:28

Now no man at the table
Not one of those who lay upon the couches at the table, excepting John, to whom the signal was given:

knew for what intent he spake this unto him;
and perhaps he might not know the meaning of his last words, that he spoke concerning the act of betraying him; nor did not imagine that the thing was so near and so speedily to be done, as it was.

26 Jésus répondit: C'est celui à qui je donnerai un morceau trempé. Et ayant trempé un morceau, il le donna à Judas l'Iscariote, fils de Simon.

27 Et après que Judas eut pris le morceau, Satan entra en lui. Jésus donc lui dit: Fais au plus tôt ce que tu as à faire.

28 Mais aucun de ceux qui étaient à table ne comprit pourquoi il lui dit cela.

29 Car quelques-uns pensaient que, comme Judas avait la bourse, Jésus lui disait: Achète ce qu'il nous faut pour la fête; ou: Donne quelque chose aux pauvres.

30 Ayant donc pris le morceau, Judas sortit immédiatement. Or, il était nuit.
