Mark 14:2

But they said not on the feast day
The feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread, which was nigh at hand, and would be two days hence, when there would be a great concourse of people from all parts to keep it: and therefore they did not choose to seize him, and put him to death at that time,

lest there should be an uproar of the people;
or among them, lest they should rise in his favour, and rescue him out of their hands; (See Gill on Matthew 26:5).

1 La fĂȘte de PĂąque et des pains sans levain devait ĂȘtre deux jours aprĂšs; et les scribes cherchaient comment ils pourraient se saisir de JĂ©sus par ruse et le faire mourir.
2 Mais ils disaient: Non pas durant la fĂȘte, de peur qu'il ne se fasse quelque Ă©motion parmi le peuple.
3 Et JĂ©sus Ă©tant Ă  BĂ©thanie, Ă  table, dans la maison de Simon le lĂ©preux, une femme vint Ă  lui avec un vase d'albĂątre, plein d'un parfum de nard pur et de grand prix, qu'elle lui rĂ©pandit sur la tĂȘte, ayant rompu le vase.
4 Et quelques-uns en furent indignĂ©s en eux-mĂȘmes, et dirent: Pourquoi perdre ainsi ce parfum?
5 Car on pouvait le vendre plus de trois cents deniers, et les donner aux pauvres. Ainsi ils murmuraient contre elle.
