Shemed built the towns of Ono and Lod and the villages around them. Beriah and Shema were leaders of the families living in Aijalon, and they forced out the people who lived in Gath. Eshek's first son was Ulam, his second was Jeush, and Eliphelet was his third. NIV 39 The sons of his brother Eshek: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second son and Eliphelet the third. NCV 40 Ulam's sons were mighty warriors and good archers. They had many sons and grandsons -- one hundred fifty of them in all. All these men were Benjamin's descendants. NIV 40 The sons of Ulam were brave warriors who could handle the bow. They had many sons and grandsons—150 in all. All these were the descendants of Benjamin.
