Psalm 149

1 ¡Aleluya! Cantad al SEÑOR un cántico nuevo: su alabanza en la congregación de los santos.

1 Praise the LORD ! Sing to the LORD a new song, And His praise in the congregation of the godly ones.

2 Alégrese Israel en su Creador; regocíjense los hijos de Sion en su Rey.

2 Let Israel be glad in his Maker; Let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King.

3 Alaben su nombre con danza; cántenle alabanza con pandero y lira.

3 Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre.

4 Porque el SEÑOR se deleita en su pueblo; adornará de salvación a los afligidos.

4 For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation.

5 Regocíjense de gloria los santos; canten con gozo sobre sus camas.

5 Let the godly ones exult in glory; Let them sing for joy on their beds.

6 Sean los loores de Dios en su boca, y una espada de dos filos en su mano,

6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,

7 para ejecutar venganza en las naciones, y castigo en los pueblos;

7 To execute vengeance on the nations And punishment on the peoples,

8 para atar a sus reyes con cadenas, y a sus nobles con grillos de hierro;

8 To bind their kings with chains And their nobles with fetters of iron,

9 para ejecutar en ellos el juicio decretado: esto es gloria para todos sus santos. ¡Aleluya!

9 To execute on them the judgment written; This is an honor for all His godly ones. Praise the LORD !
