Psalm 20

1 Que el SEÑOR te responda en el día de la angustia. Que el nombre del Dios de Jacob te ponga en alto.

1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;

2 Que desde el santuario te envíe ayuda, y desde Sion te sostenga.

2 May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion;

3 Que se acuerde de todas tus ofrendas, y halle aceptable tu holocausto. (Selah)

3 May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah

4 Que te conceda el deseo de tu corazón, y cumpla todos tus anhelos.

4 May He grant you according to your heart's desire, And fulfill all your purpose.

5 Nosotros cantaremos con gozo por tu victoria , y en el nombre de nuestro Dios alzaremos bandera. Que el SEÑOR cumpla todas tus peticiones.

5 We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.

6 Ahora sé que el SEÑOR salva a su ungido; le responderá desde su santo cielo, con la potencia salvadora de su diestra.

6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.

7 Algunos confían en carros, y otros en caballos; mas nosotros en el nombre del SEÑOR nuestro Dios confiaremos.

7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

8 Ellos se doblegaron y cayeron; pero nosotros nos hemos levantado y nos mantenemos en pie.

8 They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.

9 ¡Salva, oh SEÑOR! Que el Rey nos responda el día que clamemos.

9 Save, Lord! May the King answer us when we call.
