1 Hazme justicia, oh Dios, y defiende mi causa contra una nación impía; líbrame del hombre engañoso e injusto.

Vindicate me, O God, And plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!
2 Ya que tú eres el Dios de mi fortaleza, ¿por qué me has rechazado? ¿Por qué ando sombrío por la opresión del enemigo?

For You are the God of my strength; Why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3 Envía tu luz y tu verdad; que ellas me guíen, que me lleven a tu santo monte, y a tus moradas.

Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.
4 Entonces llegaré al altar de Dios, a Dios, mi supremo gozo; y al son de la lira te alabaré, oh Dios, Dios mío.

Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.
5 ¿Por qué te abates, alma mía, y por qué te turbas dentro de mí? Espera en Dios, pues he de alabarle otra vez. ¡El es la salvación de mi ser, y mi Dios!

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.
