25 Allora Giosafat e la sua gente andarono a far bottino delle loro spoglie; e fra i cadaveri trovarono abbondanza di ricchezze, di vesti e di oggetti preziosi; e se ne appropriarono più che ne potessero portare; tre giorni misero a portar via il bottino, tant’era copioso.

2 Chronicles 20:25

And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take the spoil of
them
Which was all they had to do; they had no need to fight, as they were told, the Lord had fought for them: they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies;
rich garments on them, and gold and silver on them: and precious jewels, which they stripped of for themselves;
with which their clothes, or some part of their bodies, were ornamented: more than they could carry away;
they were so many, that they made too great a burden for them: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much;
it took up so much time to strip the bodies, to search for their money and jewels, rings, chains, and such like things of value, worn by them.

23 I figliuoli di Ammon e di Moab assalirono gli abitanti del monte di Seir per votarli allo sterminio e distruggerli; e quand’ebbero annientati gli abitanti di Seir, si diedero a distruggersi a vicenda.

24 E quando que’ di Giuda furon giunti sull’altura donde si scorge il deserto, volsero lo sguardo verso la moltitudine, ed ecco i cadaveri che giacevano a terra; nessuno era scampato.

25 Allora Giosafat e la sua gente andarono a far bottino delle loro spoglie; e fra i cadaveri trovarono abbondanza di ricchezze, di vesti e di oggetti preziosi; e se ne appropriarono più che ne potessero portare; tre giorni misero a portar via il bottino, tant’era copioso.

26 Il quarto giorno si radunarono nella Valle di Benedizione, dove benedissero l’Eterno; per questo, quel luogo è stato chiamato Valle di Benedizione fino al dì d’oggi.

27 Tutti gli uomini di Giuda e di Gerusalemme, con a capo Giosafat, partirono con gioia per tornare a Gerusalemme, perché l’Eterno li avea ricolmi d’allegrezza, liberandoli dai loro nemici.
