3 Il re gli disse: "V’è egli più alcuno della casa di Saul, a cui io possa far del bene per amor di Dio?" Tsiba rispose al re: "V’è ancora un figliuolo di Gionathan, storpiato dei piedi".

2 Samuel 9:3

And the king said, [is] there not yet any of the house of Saul;
that is, remaining or living:

that I may show the kindness of God unto him?
great kindness, some large favour or benefit; for the word God added to things, as to trees, mountains serves to set forth the excellency of them; and this kindness is in imitation of God, or such as he had sworn in the presence of God to show; and that is expressed in the same language, ( 1 Samuel 20:14 ) ;

and Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son;
a son still living;

[which is] lame on [his] feet;
on both his feet, as the Targum; of which occasion, (See Gill on 2 Samuel 4:4).

1 E Davide disse: "Evvi egli rimasto alcuno della casa di Saul, a cui io possa far del bene per amore di Gionathan?"

2 Or v’era un servo della casa di Saul, per nome Tsiba, che fu fatto venire presso Davide. Il re gli chiese: "Sei tu Tsiba?" Quegli rispose: "Servo tuo".

3 Il re gli disse: "V’è egli più alcuno della casa di Saul, a cui io possa far del bene per amor di Dio?" Tsiba rispose al re: "V’è ancora un figliuolo di Gionathan, storpiato dei piedi".

4 Il re gli disse: "Dov’è egli?" Tsiba rispose al re: "E’ in casa di Makir, figliuolo di Ammiel, a Lodebar".

5 Allora il re lo mandò a prendere in casa di Makir, figliuolo di Ammiel, a Lodebar.
