Luke 10:14

But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at
the judgment
Or "in the day of judgment", as read the Syriac, Persic, Ethiopic, and Gothic versions; and as it is in ( Matthew 11:22 )

than for you;
the inhabitants of Chorazin and Bethsaida, who will be more severely punished than these Gentile cities; for by how much greater were their light, privileges, and advantages against which they sinned, by so much will be their severer punishment.

12 Io vi dico che in quel giorno la sorte di Sodoma sarà più tollerabile della sorte di quella città.

13 Guai a te, Corazin! Guai a te, Betsaida; perché se in Tiro e in Sidone fossero state fatte le opere potenti compiute fra voi, già anticamente si sarebbero ravvedute, prendendo il cilicio, e sedendo nella cenere.

14 E però, nel giorno del giudicio, la sorte di Tiro e di Sidone sarà più tollerabile della vostra.

15 E tu, o Capernaum, sarai tu forse innalzata fino al cielo? No, tu sarai abbassata fino nell’Ades!
