1 Samuel 17:53

And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the
Philistines
The remainder that escaped having got into their fortified cities:

and they spoiled their tents;
which they left in their camp, all their armour, goods, money, and provisions, they found there, they seized upon as their prey and booty; these they did not stay to meddle with as soon as the Philistines fled, but first pursued them, and slew as many of them as they could, and then returned to the spoil; which was wisely done.

51 Mas corri贸 David y p煤sose sobre el Filisteo, y tomando la espada de 茅l, sac谩ndola de su vaina, mat贸lo, y cort贸le con ella la cabeza. Y como los Filisteos vieron su gigante muerto, huyeron.
52 Y levant谩ndose los de Israel y de Jud谩, dieron grita, y siguieron 谩 los Filisteos hasta llegar al valle, y hasta las puertas de Ecr贸n. Y cayeron heridos de los Filisteos por el camino de Saraim, hasta Gath y Ecr贸n.
53 Tornando luego los hijos de Israel de seguir los Filisteos, despojaron su campamento.
54 Y David tom贸 la cabeza del Filisteo, y tr谩jola 谩 Jerusalem, mas puso sus armas en su tienda.
55 Y cuando Sa煤l vi贸 谩 David que sal铆a 谩 encontrarse con el Filisteo, dijo 谩 Abner general del ej茅rcito: Abner, 驴de qui茅n es hijo aquel mancebo? Y Abner respondi贸:
