24 Y 谩 vosotros os hacemos saber, que 谩 todos los sacerdotes y Levitas, cantores, porteros, Nethineos y ministros de la casa de Dios, ninguno pueda imponerles tributo, 贸 pecho, 贸 renta.

Ezra 7:24

Also we certify you, that touching any of the priests and
Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of
God
The king had a right and perfect knowledge of the distinct offices and services of those persons, see ( Ezra 7:7 ) ,

it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them;
that they might be the less encumbered with the affairs of life, and be more at leisure to attend divine service, and do it the more readily and freely; it was usual with the Heathens to except ecclesiastics from taxes, tributes, and imposts; so the priests in Egypt F23, and the Druids here in Britain F24.

22 Hasta cien talentos de plata, y hasta cien coros de trigo, y hasta cien batos de vino, y hasta cien batos de aceite; y sal sin tasa.
23 Todo lo que es mandado por el Dios del cielo, sea hecho prestamente para la casa del Dios del cielo: pues, 驴por qu茅 habr铆a de ser su ira contra el reino del rey y de sus hijos?
24 Y 谩 vosotros os hacemos saber, que 谩 todos los sacerdotes y Levitas, cantores, porteros, Nethineos y ministros de la casa de Dios, ninguno pueda imponerles tributo, 贸 pecho, 贸 renta.
25 Y t煤, Esdras, conforme 谩 la sabidur铆a de tu Dios que tienes, pon jueces y gobernadores, que gobiernen 谩 todo el pueblo que est谩 del otro lado del r铆o, 谩 todos los que tienen noticia de las leyes de tu Dios; y al que no la tuviere le ense帽ar茅is.
26 Y cualquiera que no hiciere la ley de tu Dios, y la ley del rey, prestamente sea juzgado, 贸 谩 muerte, 贸 谩 dasarraigo, 贸 谩 pena de la hacienda, 贸 谩 prisi贸n.
