31 Su boca entraba en el capitel (en el remate que salía de la basa ) un codo para arriba; y era su boca redonda, de la hechura (del mismo remate ) de la basa, de codo y medio. Había también sobre la boca entalladuras con sus cintas, las cuales eran cuadradas, no redondas.

1 Kings 7:31

And the mouth of it within the chapiter, and above, was a
cubit
On the lid of the base rose up a lesser base, called the chapiter, which was circular, like a coronet, as the word signifies, the inside of which was hollow, for the lower part of the layer to rest in; this ascended straight up half a cubit, and then widening, went up half a cubit more, and so in its whole height, as here a cubit; the circuit or circumference of which is called the mouth of the base, into which the feet of the layer were set, the measure of which is next given:

but the mouth thereof was round, after the work of the base, a cubit
and an half;
which was either the circumference or the diameter of it; one should think the latter:

and also upon the mouth of it were gravings, with their borders,
four square, not round;
though the mouth was round, the border of it was four square, which had figures engraved thereon, perhaps the same as on the other borders, lions, oxen, and cherubim.

29 y sobre aquellas cintas que estaban entre las molduras, figuras de leones, y de bueyes, y de querubines; y sobre las molduras de la basa, así encima como debajo de los leones y de los bueyes, había unas añadiduras de bajo relieve.

30 Cada basa tenía cuatro ruedas de bronce con mesas de bronce; y en sus cuatro esquinas había unos hombrillos, los cuales nacían de fundición a cada lado de aquellas añadiduras, para estar debajo de la fuente.

31 Su boca entraba en el capitel (en el remate que salía de la basa ) un codo para arriba; y era su boca redonda, de la hechura (del mismo remate ) de la basa, de codo y medio. Había también sobre la boca entalladuras con sus cintas, las cuales eran cuadradas, no redondas.

32 Las cuatro ruedas estaban debajo de las cintas, y los ejes de las ruedas nacían en la misma basa. La altura de cada rueda era de un codo y medio.

33 Y la hechura de las ruedas era como la hechura de las ruedas de un carro; sus ejes, sus rayos, y sus cubos, y sus cinchos, todo era de fundición.
