19 Y les envió profetas, para que los redujesen al SEÑOR, los cuales les protestaron; mas ellos no los escucharon.

2 Chronicles 24:19

Yet he sent prophets to them, to bring them again unto the
Lord
To reprove them for their sin, to warn them of their danger, to exhort them to their duty, and endeavour to restore them, and reduce them to the obedience and worship, of God; such was his clemency, goodness, and condescension to them, before he executed his wrath upon them:

and they testified against them;
against their sins, and declared what would befall them, and called heaven and earth to witness for God and against them:

but they would not give ear:
to their reproofs, admonitions, cautions, and exhortations, but went on in their own ways.

17 Muerto Joiada, vinieron los príncipes de Judá, y adoraron al rey; y el rey los oyó.

18 Y desampararon la Casa del SEÑOR Dios de sus padres, y sirvieron a los bosques y a las imágenes esculpidas; y la ira vino sobre Judá y Jerusalén por este su pecado.

19 Y les envió profetas, para que los redujesen al SEÑOR, los cuales les protestaron; mas ellos no los escucharon.

20 Y el espíritu de Dios envistió a Zacarías, hijo de Joiada el sacerdote, el cual estando sobre el pueblo, les dijo: Así ha dicho Dios: ¿Por qué quebrantáis los mandamientos del SEÑOR? No os vendrá bien de ello; porque por haber dejado al SEÑOR, el también os dejará.

21 Mas ellos hicieron conspiración contra él, y le cubrieron de piedras por mandato del rey, en el patio de la Casa del SEÑOR.
