14 Así conjuró Jehú hijo de Josafat hijo de Nimsi, contra Joram. (Estaba Joram guardando a Ramot de Galaad con todo Israel, por causa de Hazael rey de Siria.

2 Kings 9:14

So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired
against Joram
He and the captains with him entered into a confederacy to depose Joram, and set him up as king: now Joram had kept Ramothgilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael
king of Syria;
having taken it, he left his army in it, under the command of his captains, of which Jehu was the chief, to keep it from the king of Syria; which gave Jehu a fairer opportunity, having the army at his command, and at a distance from Joram, of forming a conspiracy against him.

12 Y ellos dijeron: Mentira; decláranoslo ahora. Y él dijo: Así y así me habló, diciendo: Así dijo el SEÑOR: Yo te he ungido por rey sobre Israel.

13 Y tomaron prestamente cada uno su ropa, y la puso debajo de él en un trono alto, y tocaron trompeta, y dijeron: Jehú es rey.

14 Así conjuró Jehú hijo de Josafat hijo de Nimsi, contra Joram. (Estaba Joram guardando a Ramot de Galaad con todo Israel, por causa de Hazael rey de Siria.

15 Pero se había vuelto el rey Joram a Jezreel, para curarse de las heridas que los siros le habían hecho, peleando contra Hazael rey de Siria). Y Jehú dijo: Si es vuestra voluntad, ninguno escape de la ciudad, para ir a dar las nuevas en Jezreel.

16 Entonces Jehú cabalgó, y se fue a Jezreel, porque Joram estaba allí enfermo. También Ocozías rey de Judá había descendido allá a visitar a Joram.
