4 Entró pues aquella mujer de Tecoa al rey, y postrándose en tierra sobre su rostro adoró, y dijo: Oh rey, salve.

2 Samuel 14:4

And when the woman of Tekoah spake to the king
Or after she had spoken to him, being introduced by Joab, as is probable; when she had saluted him with God save the king, or May the king live, or some such like expressions:

she fell on her face to the ground, and did obeisance;
to him as her king, in reverence of his majesty:

and said, help, O king;
signifying that she was in great distress, and came to him for assistance and deliverance.

2 envió Joab a Tecoa, y tomó de allá una mujer astuta, y le dijo: Yo te ruego que te enlutes, y te vistas de ropas de luto, y no te unjas con óleo, antes sé como mujer que ha mucho tiempo que trae luto por algún muerto;

3 y entrando al rey, habla con él de esta manera. Y puso Joab las palabras en su boca.

4 Entró pues aquella mujer de Tecoa al rey, y postrándose en tierra sobre su rostro adoró, y dijo: Oh rey, salve.

5 Y el rey dijo: ¿Qué tienes? Y ella respondió: Yo a la verdad soy una mujer viuda y mi marido es muerto.

6 Y tu sierva tenía dos hijos y los dos riñeron en el campo; y no habiendo quien los separase, hirió el uno al otro, y lo mató.
