15 Y viendo Faraón que le habían dado reposo, agravó su corazón, y no los escuchó; como el SEÑOR lo había dicho.

Exodus 8:15

But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite
From his affliction, as the Targum of Jonathan adds; the plague was removed, and he found himself and his people at ease: or there was a "breathing" {c}; before he and his people were so oppressed, that they could scarce breathe, but now being delivered from the judgment on them with which they were straitened, were enlarged and at liberty, and in easy circumstances: he hardened his heart; (See Gill on Exodus 7:14).

and hearkened not unto them;
to Moses and Aaron, to let the children of Israel go, as they had required, and he had promised:

as the Lord had said;
had foretold that he would not hearken to them, nor let Israel go as yet.

13 E hizo el SEÑOR conforme a la palabra de Moisés, y murieron las ranas de las casas, de los cortijos, y de los campos.

14 Y las juntaron en montones, y la tierra se corrompió.

15 Y viendo Faraón que le habían dado reposo, agravó su corazón, y no los escuchó; como el SEÑOR lo había dicho.

16 Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Di a Aarón: Extiende tu vara, y hiere el polvo de la tierra, para que se vuelva piojos por toda la tierra de Egipto.

17 Y ellos lo hicieron así; y Aarón extendió su mano con su vara, e hirió el polvo de la tierra, el cual se volvió piojos, así en los hombres como en las bestias; todo el polvo de la tierra se volvió piojos en toda la tierra de Egipto.
