Jesus in John 10 talks about being the Good Shepherd. He is the one who knows his sheep and we hear his voice, and as we think about Jesus being the Shepherd, it's not just about the shepherd and sheep. We can go back and study and learn about how sheep are not very smart to begin with. I don't like to think about that part of it, but I love the fact that Jesus cares so much about us that he will come after us. He will look for us. He wants to care for us physically and spiritually. He's our strength. He's our provider. He's our hope. And so we see that he's the shepherd, and he is there for us if we will let him shepherd us in every decision we make in life.
