Deuteronomy 11:18

18 Put ye these my words in your hearts and in your souls, and hang ye them up for a token, or a sign, in your hands, and set ye them betwixt your eyes. Deuteronomy 11:18 Meaning and Commentary

Ver. 18-20. Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart, and
in your soul
Treasure up the laws of God delivered to them in their minds, retain them in their memories, and cherish a cordial affection for them; which would be an antidote against apostasy, idolatry, and other sins, ( Psalms 119:11 )

and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets
between your eyes;

19 Teach ye your sons, (so) that they think upon those words, when thou sittest in thine house, and goest in the way (and goest on the way), and liest down, and risest up.
