Faith in the Son of God

1 Everyone who believes1 that Jesus is the Christ2 is born of God,3 and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.4

2 This is how we know5 that we love the children of God:6 by loving God and carrying out his commands.

3 This is love for God: to obey his commands.7 And his commands are not burdensome,8
