37 Und David ließ daselbst, vor der Lade des Bundes Jehovas, Asaph und seine Brüder, um beständig vor der Lade zu dienen nach der täglichen Gebühr;
38 und Obed-Edom und seine Brüder, achtundsechzig; und Obed-Edom, den Sohn Jeduthuns, und Hosa, als Torhüter.
39 Zadok, den Priester aber, und seine Brüder, die Priester, ließ er vor der Wohnung Jehovas, auf der Höhe, die zu Gibeon ist,
40 um Jehova Brandopfer zu opfern auf dem Brandopferaltar beständig, des Morgens und des Abends, und zwar nach allem, was in dem Gesetz Jehovas geschrieben steht, das er Israel geboten hat;
41 und mit ihnen Heman und Jeduthun und die übrigen Auserlesenen, welche mit Namen angegeben waren, um Jehova zu preisen, daß seine Güte ewiglich währt;
42 und mit ihnen, mit Heman und Jeduthun, waren Trompeten und Zimbeln für die, welche laut spielten, und die Musikinstrumente Gottes; und die Söhne Jeduthuns waren für das Tor.
43 Und das ganze Volk ging hin, ein jeder nach seinem Hause; und David wandte sich, um sein Haus zu segnen.

INTRODUCTION TO 1 CHRONICLES 16

This chapter relates that David offered sacrifices when the ark was brought into his city, 1Ch 16:1-3 who were the singers he appointed to sing before it continually, 1Ch 16:4-6 and the song he that day composed and delivered to them to sing, 1Ch 16:7-36 and that he appointed not only proper persons to minister before the ark, but also before the tabernacle at Gibeon, 1Ch 16:37-43.
