Acts 19:8-12

When the doctor says you have a virus for which there is no known cure, or you’ve been hit with the news you’re your child has cancer it’s about that time that you realize you’re in need of a miracle from God.  But does He still perform miracles today, as He did in the past?  You better believe it.  And today’s Sound Doctrine will encourage us to look to the Lord in faith at such times.  

As Christians we want to make a lasting impact in this world and have a spiritually impactful life.  But how is that possible in the world as we know it?  It can happen right where you’re at, just as it did for the apostle Paul.  Pastor Jeff says it starts with laying a good foundation, with the Word of God.  

We're in Acts chapter nineteen and the account of the apostle Paul’s third missionary journey in the city of Ephesus.  Today we’re going to observe how the Lord through Paul made such an impact in this city and how we too can have a spiritually impactful life!  It has to be God’s way, not ours!  And you can be sure the enemy will take notice and be at work too.
