Luke 10:17-24

Stress, worry, and fear are an everyday reality for a great number of people today, in light of all that’s going on around us.  Maybe for you too?   Is it really feasible to experience joy in a world such as this?  I’m happy to say, Yes!  We’ll tell you where joy is found today on a Daily Walk as we get back into Luke’s gospel. No matter how severe the trials of life become, you can experience joy in the Lord!  We’re in chapter ten once again today on a Daily Walk, as pastor John Randall shares where real and lasting joy can be found.

We hear a lot about joy here during the Christmas season, but where is joy found?  That’s the question before us today!  You can see it on the faces of so many we encounter today… worry and anxiety has flooded people’s hearts.  Today on A Daily Walk, we’ll discover where real and lasting joy can be found… even in the midst of a world full of turmoil!  

It’s not what you know, but who you know. With Christ comes privilege, and a new kind of happiness. It’s not a happiness that only lasts for a season, but a happiness that both fulfills us, and completes us.

There is no greater freedom than to be freed from the demands and attention that living for ourselves requires. Having a relationship with Jesus not only means eternal salvation. It means we get to share with others the love, and peace, that only comes from knowing Him.

Today, Pastor Jack tells us that everything these 70 workers did was a success. The powerful name of Jesus gave them the victory, even over demonic forces that had enslaved the people. Jesus had given them all they needed, and a deep satisfaction swept over them.
