Matthew 14:13-21

God is wanting us to trust Him, but you may have noticed we often struggle in that area? We draw your attention to Jesus feeding thousands of people with a young boy’s lunch!  Some say that’s impossible!  But nothing is impossible for God. We’re learning to trust in Jesus, even as we’re hit with roadblocks or impossibilities, as we turn to Matthew chapter fourteen.

Today we join pastor Jeff Johnson in Matthew chapter fourteen.  Many people today look at the claims of the Bible and consider them to be mythological fairy-tails.  They wonder how could Jonah be swallowed by a big fish and live to tell about it, or how could Jesus feed close to 15 thousand people with five loaves and two fish!   We can be sure that what God says is real and true, even if it defies human logic.  

Perhaps you’re like me and have the tendency to think only of what you can’t accomplish instead of what God can do in and through a life that’s given over to Him. With God all things are possible. We open up Matthew’s gospel to chapter fourteen  and the very famous story of feeding the five thousand. 

“Our doubts,” somebody said “doesn’t necessarily prove unbelief. It may just be a sign we are thinking.” Of course our problem is we put our own human limitations in our calculations. But if we’re talking about God then all things are possible.  We take you to Matthew’s gospel chapter fourteen and the account of the feeding of the five thousand with five loves and two fish.
