Entonces Marta, cuando oyĂł que JesĂşs venĂa, fue a su encuentro, pero MarĂa se quedĂł sentada en casa.

Y Marta dijo a JesĂşs: Señor, si hubieras estado aquĂ, mi hermano no habrĂa muerto.

Aun ahora, yo sé que todo lo que pidas a Dios, Dios te lo concederá.

Jesús le dijo<***>: Tu hermano resucitará.

Marta le contestĂł<***>: Yo sĂ© que resucitará en la resurrecciĂłn, en el dĂa final.

JesĂşs le dijo: Yo soy la resurrecciĂłn y la vida; el que cree en mĂ, aunque muera, vivirá,

y todo el que vive y cree en mĂ, no morirá jamás. ÂżCrees esto?

Ella le dijo<***>: SĂ, Señor; yo he creĂdo que tĂş eres el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios, el que viene al mundo.

Y habiendo dicho esto, se fue y llamĂł a su hermana MarĂa, diciĂ©ndole en secreto: El Maestro está aquĂ, y te llama.

Tan pronto como ella lo oyó, se levantó<***> rápidamente y fue hacia El.

Pues JesĂşs aĂşn no habĂa entrado en la aldea, sino que todavĂa estaba en el lugar donde Marta le habĂa encontrado.
