22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, 1a man attested to you by God 2with 3mighty works and wonders and signs that 4God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know—
23 this Jesus, [a] 5delivered up according to 6the definite plan and 7foreknowledge of God, 8you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men.
24 9God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because 10it was not possible for him to be held by it.
