Matthew 9:18-26

If you would describe yourself as hopeless, listen to today's a Daily Walk!  There is hope for the hopeless through Jesus.  That comes shining through in today’s lesson on a Daily Walk.  We’ll meet up with a couple of people in a crisis and hopeless.  Then Jesus turned everything around for them in an instant.  

I think you’d agree nothing in life is as painful as the death of a child.  Or how about having a disease and the doctors are baffled by it, leaving you with more questions than answers!  Today on Light on the Hill we’ll hear of two people in situations like I just described, and their desperation drove them to Jesus, even though it meant going outside of tradition.  

Maybe today you’re in a desperate situation!  Perhaps your world has been rocked financially, or you have a loved one that is sick and dying? Today on Light on the Hill we’ll hear of a man in a very desperate situation of his own.  His daughter has just died.  What he does next is truly admirable and will no doubt leave you encouraged.
