1Paul, 1an apostle (2not sent from mennorthrough the agency of man, but 3throughJesusChrist and God the Father, who 4raised Him from the dead ),
2
and all5the brethren who are with me, To 6the churches of Galatia :
37Grace to you and peace from aGod our Father and the LordJesusChrist,
4
who 8gaveHimself for our sinsso that He might rescue us from 9thispresentevilbage, according to the will of 10our God and Father,
511to whom be the gloryforevermore. Amen.
6
I amamazed that you are soquicklydeserting12Him who called you cby the grace of Christ, for a 13differentgospel ;
7which is really not another ; only there are some who are 14disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.
8
But evenif we, or15an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospeldcontrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be e16accursed !
9
As we 17have saidbefore, so I sayagainnow, 18ifanyman is preaching to you a gospelfcontrary to what you received, he is to be g19accursed !
10
For am I now20seeking the favor of men, or of God ? Or am I striving to pleasemen ? If I were still trying to pleasemen, I would not be a 21bond-servant of Christ.
11
For 22I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is 23not according to man.
12
For 24I neitherreceived it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a 25revelation of JesusChrist.
13
For you have heard of 26my formermanner of life in Judaism, how I 27used to persecute28the church of Godbeyondmeasure and 29tried to destroy it;
14
and I 30was advancing in Judaismbeyondmany of my contemporariesamong my hcountrymen, beingmoreextremelyzealous for my 31ancestraltraditions.
15
But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother'swomb and 32called me through His grace, was pleased16
to reveal His Son in me so that I might 33preach Him among the Gentiles, 34I did not immediatelyconsult with i35flesh and blood,
1736nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostlesbefore me; but I wentaway to Arabia, and returnedoncemore to 37Damascus.
18Then38threeyearslater I went up 39to Jerusalem to jbecomeacquainted with 40Cephas, and stayed with him fifteendays.
19
But I did not seeanyother of the apostlesexceptk41James, the Lord'sbrother.
20
(Now in what I am writing to you, lI assure you 42beforeGod that I am not lying.)
21Then43I went into the regions of 44Syria and 45Cilicia.
22
I was still unknown by msight to 46the churches of Judea which were 47in Christ ;
23
but only, they kept hearing, "He who oncepersecuted us is nowpreaching48the faithwhich he once49tried to destroy."
24
And they 50were glorifyingGodnbecause of me.
