1 L'esprit m'enleva, et me transporta ? la porte orientale de la maison de l'?ternel, ? celle qui regarde l'orient. Et voici, ? l'entr?e de la porte, il y avait vingt-cinq hommes; et je vis au milieu d'eux Jaazania, fils d'Azzur, et Pelathia, fils de Benaja, chefs du peuple.

1 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the gate of the house of the LORD that faces east. There at the entrance to the gate were twenty-five men, and I saw among them Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.

2 Et l'?ternel me dit: Fils de l'homme, ce sont les hommes qui m?ditent l'iniquit?, et qui donnent de mauvais conseils dans cette ville.
|
2 The LORD said to me, "Son of man, these are the men who are plotting evil and giving wicked advice in this city.
|
|
3 Ils disent: Ce n'est pas le moment! B?tissons des maisons! La ville est la chaudi?re, et nous sommes la viande.
|
3 They say, 'Will it not soon be time to build houses? This city is a cooking pot, and we are the meat.'
|
|
4 C'est pourquoi proph?tise contre eux, proph?tise, fils de l'homme!
|
4 Therefore prophesy against them; prophesy, son of man."
|
|
5 Alors l'esprit de l'?ternel tomba sur moi. Et il me dit: Dis: Ainsi parle l'?ternel: Vous parlez de la sorte, maison d'Isra?l! Et ce qui vous monte ? la pens?e, je le sais.
|
5 Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon me, and he told me to say: "This is what the LORD says: That is what you are saying, O house of Israel, but I know what is going through your mind.
|
|
6 Vous avez multipli? les meurtres dans cette ville, Vous avez rempli les rues de cadavres.
|
6 You have killed many people in this city and filled its streets with the dead.
|
|
7 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'?ternel: Vos morts que vous avez ?tendus au milieu d'elle, C'est la viande, et elle, c'est la chaudi?re; Mais vous, on vous en fera sortir.
|
7 "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot, but I will drive you out of it.
|
|
8 Vous avez peur de l'?p?e, Et je ferai venir sur vous l'?p?e, Dit le Seigneur, l'?ternel.
|
8 You fear the sword, and the sword is what I will bring against you, declares the Sovereign LORD.
|
|
9 Je vous ferai sortir du milieu d'elle, Je vous livrerai entre les mains des ?trangers, Et j'exercerai contre vous mes jugements.
|
9 I will drive you out of the city and hand you over to foreigners and inflict punishment on you.
|
|
10 Vous tomberez par l'?p?e, Je vous jugerai sur la fronti?re d'Isra?l, Et vous saurez que je suis l'?ternel.
|
10 You will fall by the sword, and I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
|
|
11 La ville ne sera pas pour vous une chaudi?re, Et vous ne serez pas la viande au milieu d'elle: C'est sur la fronti?re d'Isra?l que je vous jugerai.
|
11 This city will not be a pot for you, nor will you be the meat in it; I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel.
|
|
12 Et vous saurez que je suis l'?ternel, Dont vous n'avez pas suivi les ordonnances Et pratiqu? les lois; Mais vous avez agi selon les lois des nations qui vous entourent.
|
12 And you will know that I am the LORD, for you have not followed my decrees or kept my laws but have conformed to the standards of the nations around you."
|
|
13 Comme je proph?tisais, Pelathia, fils de Benaja, mourut. Je tombai sur ma face, et je m'?criai ? haute voix: Ah! Seigneur ?ternel, an?antiras-tu ce qui reste d'Isra?l?
|
13 Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice, "Ah, Sovereign LORD! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?"
|
|
14 Et la parole de l'?ternel me fut adress?e, en ces mots:
|
14 The word of the LORD came to me:
|
|
15 Fils de l'homme, ce sont tes fr?res, tes fr?res, Ceux de ta parent?, et la maison d'Isra?l tout enti?re, A qui les habitants de J?rusalem disent: Restez loin de l'?ternel, Le pays nous a ?t? donn? en propri?t?.
|
15 "Son of man, your brothers--your brothers who are your blood relatives and the whole house of Israel--are those of whom the people of Jerusalem have said, 'They are far away from the LORD; this land was given to us as our possession.'
|
|
16 C'est pourquoi tu diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'?ternel: Si je les tiens ?loign?s parmi les nations, Si je les ai dispers?s en divers pays, Je serai pour eux quelque temps un asile Dans les pays o? ils sont venus.
|
16 "Therefore say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.'
|
|
17 C'est pourquoi tu diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'?ternel: Je vous rassemblerai du milieu des peuples, Je vous recueillerai des pays o? vous ?tes dispers?s, Et je vous donnerai la terre d'Isra?l.
|
17 "Therefore say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.'
|
|
18 C'est l? qu'ils iront, Et ils en ?teront toutes les idoles et toutes les abominations.
|
18 "They will return to it and remove all its vile images and detestable idols.
|
|
19 Je leur donnerai un m?me coeur, Et je mettrai en vous un esprit nouveau; J'?terai de leur corps le coeur de pierre, Et je leur donnerai un coeur de chair,
|
19 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.
|
|
20 Afin qu'ils suivent mes ordonnances, Et qu'ils observent et pratiquent mes lois; Et ils seront mon peuple, et je serai leur Dieu.
|
20 Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God.
|
|
21 Mais pour ceux dont le coeur se pla?t ? leurs idoles et ? leurs abominations, Je ferai retomber leurs oeuvres sur leur t?te, Dit le Seigneur, l'?ternel.
|
21 But as for those whose hearts are devoted to their vile images and detestable idols, I will bring down on their own heads what they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD."
|
|
22 Les ch?rubins d?ploy?rent leurs ailes, accompagn?s des roues; et la gloire du Dieu d'Isra?l ?tait sur eux, en haut.
|
22 Then the cherubim, with the wheels beside them, spread their wings, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them.
|
|
23 La gloire de l'?ternel s'?leva du milieu de la ville, et elle se pla?a sur la montagne qui est ? l'orient de la ville.
|
23 The glory of the LORD went up from within the city and stopped above the mountain east of it.
|
|
24 L'esprit m'enleva, et me transporta en Chald?e aupr?s des captifs, en vision par l'esprit de Dieu; et la vision que j'avais eue disparut au-dessus de moi.
|
24 The Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the exiles in Babylonia in the vision given by the Spirit of God. Then the vision I had seen went up from me,
|
|
25 Je dis aux captifs toutes les paroles de l'?ternel, qu'il m'avait r?v?l?es.
|
25 and I told the exiles everything the LORD had shown me.
