"For, behold, the day comes, it burns as a furnace; and all the proud, and all who work wickedness, will be stubble; and the day that comes will burn them up," says the LORD of Hosts, "that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 1 "Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. 2 But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out, and leap like calves of the stall. 2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.
You shall tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make," says the LORD of Hosts. 3 Then you will trample down the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things," says the LORD Almighty.
"Remember the law of Moshe my servant, which I commanded to him in Horev for all Yisra'el, even statutes and ordinances. 4 "Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel.
Behold, I will send you Eliyah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes. 5 "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes.
He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the eretz with a curse." 6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse."
